Olicar is an Energy Services Company (ESCO) recognised by the Energy and Gas Authority and provides integrated solutions to public institutions and private clients enabling cost savings while increasing environmental compliance and efficiency.

Starting from its energy facility management core business, Olicar has expanded its business significantly and it is now active also in the production of energy from renewable sources in the engineering and construction of state-of-the-art heating infrastructures for healthcare facilities and in clinical engineering services.

Olicar has a contract portfolio of over € 1 billion with an average duration of around 15 years.

The company has over 350 employees and in 2010 had consolidated revenues of over € 90 million.

On June 8 2007, BlueGem acquired a 49.9% stake in Olicar S.p.A.
