 Emilio
Di Spiezio Sardo is a Partner and a member of the Members’ Board
of BlueGem Capital Partners.
Emilio Di Spiezio Sardo has over six years experience
in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch and almost two years experience
in the hedge fund industry at York Capital Management.
During the six years in Investment Banking (1999-2005),
Emilio worked in the European merger and acquisitions and Italian
corporate finance divisions in the London and Rome offices. He
gained exposure to mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity products
and closed over twenty deals involving private and listed companies.
In his recent experience within the hedge
fund industry (2005-2007), Emilio worked as an investment
professional at the
European office of York Capital Management, a global multi-strategy
fund with approximately $ 10 billion under management. He
gained exposure to European markets with a particular focus on
Italy.
Emilio Di Spiezio Sardo graduated summa cum
laude in Economics and Finance at Bocconi University in Milan
after spending one academic semester at the University of Warwick
in Coventry (UK) as part of the Erasmus project.
