The BlueGem investment target is a mid-sized
company characterised by strong and experienced management, proven
track record, leading market position and consolidated ability
to generate cash flow.
BlueGem is not willing to invest in turnaround situations, start-up
companies or project financing transactions.
The Fund targets a medium-term holding period
of 3 to 5 years, with a clear exit strategy agreed since the beginning.
The Fund will consider acquisitions of full ownership, majority
or minority stakes in its targets.
When acquiring a minority stake, BlueGem will
require a clear corporate governance that ensures adequate minority
protection.
BlueGem aims to operate as a true financial
partner that monitors its investment constantly and carefully
without interfering with the day-to-day management of the company,
which is delegated to the existing management team.
