Ibrahim has more than 25 years professional experience in management in the consumer staples sector. At Bluegem, he is Chief Transformation Officer and is a member of our Investment Committee.

Ibrahim is focused on building value through operational transformation. He works closely with our management teams to strengthen businesses from within, aligning the organisation behind a clear strategy and delivering improvements across every part of the value chain.

Previously, Ibrahim worked at Froneri (previously R&R Ice Cream) as CEO, transforming the company from a c. €700m revenue operation to the second-largest ice cream company in the world. Under his leadership, Froneri underwent a series of transformational acquisitions and international expansion, improving scale and profitability. Ibrahim started his career at Buckingham Foods as operations manager, before joining R&R. 

Ibrahim holds a PhD. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Cranfield University and an MSc. in Engineering Management from the University of Mosul.
